Alexis Duran has been a native to Arizona for 28 years. After her general studies, she went on to receive her Yoga teacher training through the Madison Improvement Club. Passionate about helping others find movement and journey to self-love, she spent the next 4 years teaching at various studios and establishments. In her free time she loves to spend time with her partner Tyler, her 2 year old daughter Roka, and 8 year old son Braxton. Dawn Donson is an educator, a life long learner and a builder of people. She loves to help folks design their best life in health, home, business & overall happiness. Dawn’s entire life has revolved around education, sports, health, art and making people laugh. She knew at a young age that she was destined to do great things, to coach / teach people young and old how to design the best version of themselves.

Her entire life has been dedicated to the education of young people. She received a bachelors degree in special education at Ball State and a Masters in Education from Earlham College. Dawn has retired from the traditional classroom setting and is now using her skills and talents in the non traditional sense through volunteer work, in the arts, Nature Guide & hospital.

She is also in the processes of getting her nutritional coaching certification along with starting her own business in the health and wellness industry. Dawn is a firm believer in taking every opportunity that presents itself, combining all of her loves and empowering others with every to do the same. Dawn believes in hard work and what you practice is how you will play. She believes every situation can be figured out and you have to have fun while in the process of working on you.

Culture Talks with Amee Bee

Amee means unconditional love in Sanskrit. Amee Bee is an artist and poet, born in America of Indian descent, inspired by love. She has bright blue eyes and slender artistic hands, which are rare features for Indian culture. She never painted in her life, until a sweet friend looked at her hands and told her to pursue art and poetry.

Without professional lessons in art (or poetry), she began to paint one cold January morning in 2017. Art, travel and new experiences for Amee Bee are the best outlets for self discovery, self acceptance and for her to stay in an inspired state of being. By sharing her experiences, she hopes it inspires you to be in love or do art, too.

Amee Bee adores the quirkiness of Mark Jacobs personality, wit and charm of the late Kate Spade, passion of Vincent Van Gogh- just as much as the chill vibes of Buddha and love poems by Rumi. Amee aims to find beauty in what's around her and be appreciative of what she has.

Culture Talks with Ingrid Dyer

Ingrid recently moved back to her hometown of Olathe, KS after living in Miami, FL for the last 6.5 years. Due to the pandemic, she was laid-off where she was working as a furniture buyer. She decided it was best to move back to her hometown of Kansas City due to so much uncertainty. Ingrid is 1st generation Mexican American, she was raised in a single parent household where she grew up with an absent father, sexual abuse and at times displaced without a home.

Growing up in the mid-west she experienced colourism within her race and outside of her race due to being a light skinned Latina. Though experiencing adversity in her up bringing Ingrid had the opportunity to attend an art school in Chicago where she pursued her passion and received a degree which allowed her to work for many well-known retailers & brands such as Mango clothing, New Era Cap and ACE Hardware.

When Ingrid is not working the typical 8 to 5 office job she volunteers her time at home taking in foster dogs with the Chain of Hope animal rescue organization. She is also navigating through a health & fitness journey where she is learning to heal from within. Now almost a full year since Ingrid located back to her hometown she literally finds herself in a radical 360 degree “full circle moment” grateful at a second chance to reset her life and find her balance.
