Nisha Jalmi, MS (she/her) currently resides in Oakland, California and works as a Vocational Rehab Counselor. Nisha is an intercountry, transracial adoptee from Goa, India. In 2009, she embarked on an international search to reunite with her birth mother. A few years later, her journey back home was featured in the documentary, YOU FOLLOW: a search for one's past .

After the nationwide tour of YOU FOLLOW, Nisha became a public speaker, group facilitator, adoptee advocate, and published writer for PACT: An Adoption Alliance. She continues to share her personal evolution and work by other adoptees at TheAdopteediary.com.

Nisha later realized how her experience of family separation intersected with animal rights, which has led her to live a Plant-based/Vegan lifestyle to combat not only animal cruelty, but also, racism, the current climate crisis and food injustices. Nisha’s passion for adventures and education sparked her commitment to invest in traveling the world with dear friends or alone on the open road. With the current travel restrictions, she has made time to listen and heal without distractions. Nisha values The Universe, herSELF, Mother Nature, personal growth, and new experiences.

Sarrah is the creator of Inspirit Inc., a holistic family doula and lifestyle well-being organization. Inspirit, Inc., provides primordial wellness services, tools and guidance for individuals, families, and communities who are ready and committed to optimizing their health, life, and human potential. Sarrah serves as a life span doula offering full circle doula support to prepare for birth, postpartum recovery, and death. With Sarrah’s guidance, you receive physical, emotional, educational, and conscious support during these transformational transitions.

Birth and death are the two biggest taboos within our society; having been deemed invisible, shameful, and fearful. Sarrah was inspired to help others unlearn their preconceived notions about birth and death so that they may have a unique and empowering experience during these life altering transitions. She works with the individual and their families to prepare for the occasion as well as during these sacred passages.

Sarrah also teaches one on one, private groups, and community yoga classes. You will learn various styles of yoga asana practices, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and yogic philosophies. Sarrah is an overall health and well-being coach, teaching you how to recognize and eliminate toxic thinking, habits, and products within your life to make room for self-made well-being.
