2016 releases.

Raised in Detroit and molded in Chicago, producer, emcee, and co-founder of The Cool Kids, Chuck Inglish, continues to mix the melting pot of hip-hop as he collaborates with a wide variety of artists across the industry. After teaming up with Sir Michael Rocks in 2007 to found the game-changing alternative hip hop duo, The Cool Kids, Inglish went on to tour the globe over, and crafted a pioneering sound that shook the foundations of hip-hop and rap.

Between 2007 and 2012, Inglish produced two studio albums and four self-released mixtapes with Rocks as The Cool Kids. The duo’s blend of retro rap and their fresh sense of style are reminiscent of Golden Age hip-hop, an era celebrated for its innovation and influence. As The Cool Kids, Inglish and Rocks have helped to shape the current digital music landscape and continue to inspire an entire generation of young, indie-alternative artists.

In 2013, Inglish released two instrumental beat tapes and his debut solo mixtape, Drop tops. In April 2014, Inglish co-produced and released his first studio album, Convertibles. The 13-track project featured collaborations with artists such as Cool Kids member, Sir Michael Rocks, as well as Chance the Rapper, Chromeo, Action Bronson, BJ the Chicago Kid, Ab-Soul, and Mac Miller. The album received as much street cred and underground success as it did critical acclaim around the world; UK's Q Magazine called the album compelling, with its "buttery rhymes and an ability to zero in on your rhythmic G-spots."

Today, Inglish is seen as an independent and unapologetic force in hip-hop, and an elder statesman for the forthcoming internet rap generation. Being a leader of the New School, he continues to work with young and aspiring artists, helping them to develop their own industry flavor.

In 2015, Inglish put the final touches on his record label, Sounds Like Fun Records. He also produced new material in anticipation of his second studio album, the aptly named Everybody’s Big Brother, which was released in September 2015. “I wanted to name my album something that meant something—what do I represent? Who am I to the world? What have I always been?” Inglish explained in an interview with Fader earlier this year. “And through this phase of years that I’ve taken to redevelop and redefine what I am, I realized that’s what I’ve been.”

Since his Cool Kids days in the mid 2000s, Inglish’s solo work has risen far above the digital landscape, crossing over into pop, funk and electronica. Meanwhile his label, Sounds Like Fun Records, also continues to soar and diversify as Inglish develops his roster further. As a producer, Inglish has expanded to work with diverse artists such as Maroon 5, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Syd The Kid, Casey Veggies, Chance The Rapper, QUIN and Yasmin, among many others.

zoë is an empyrean whom enjoys long walks on the beach and when she returns to her blanket, something classic happens that connects her to nature. One may say that this serendipitous odyssey is most known in fantasies, yet she embodies this reality today. zoë vickers gives you a glimpse of her journey as a vintagephile & creative development powerhouse.

Born in the Midwest (between Ohio {Columbus & Toledo} + Chicago, Illinois), her childhood reflected mainly on art & style with her fondest memories including vintage + thrift shopping. On a typical Saturday, zoe would find myself venturing out to Sally’s (a colloquial term for the Salvation Army) to find hidden gems as it pertains to fashion, found objects, books, shoes, records etc. At this point, her love for style was born.

zoë’s inspiration came from her granny, Rachel Lee Cox, and the enchantment of constantly creating, educating, and refining; helped her to develop a style and aesthetic that is truly, her own. When one sees photos of zoe’s work or attends her events, you will see a strong interest in not only, her personal style, but the essence of her community now and one’s within her coterie. The early start of zoë’s career led to a road assisting style shoots for the likes of Wiz Khalifa, The Cool Kids and others to styling Samuel L. Jackson for Ebony Magazine.

Her eventful journey all started from the long walks on the beach as an empyrean. As a freelance creative, zoë has cultivated extensive experience in vintage fashion styling, visual campaign management, art direction, brand image development, style archival services & event styling. Her work has been featured in publication titans from WWD, ELLE, CRWN, Lucky, and InStyle Magazine. The client roster includes Opening Ceremony, Samuel L Jackson, Vera Wang, Band of Outsiders, Wiz Khalifa, The Cool Kids, Essie Canada, Michael Bastian, HBO, Sophie Theallet, Harlem's Fashion Row and Yigal Azrouel.

Currently, zoë is focused more on her personal collective, vintagephiles. In order to be a vintagephile, one must denote fondness & flawlessly execute all things vintage. This multidisciplinary platform is being polished further to be able to share these stories globally. vPh provides the opportunity to collaborate and provide an outlet for vintage curators/collectors, particularly people of colour, as a way to cultivate culture & share the true definition of curated nostalgia.™
